Land Area
The exact land
area of the municipality is uncertain up to the present because of the varying
figures given by the agencies authoritative on the matter. The National Census and Statistics Office
(NCSO) approximates it to be around 4,660 hectares composed of only three but
rather large barangays. This figure will
be used for planning purposes.
Barangay
San Juan which is presently considered as the Poblacion of the town is
approximately 1,227 hectares of 26.3% of the total municipal land area. (Table
